About Glan Llugwy Guest House
Walkers, cyclists and anyone after a quiet base among the mountains will feel at home at Glan Llugwy Guest House. Set on Holyhead Road in Betws-y-Coed, it puts Snowdonia's paths and the countryside around Swallow Falls and the River Conwy within easy reach, with a garden and picnic area for winding down after a day outdoors and bike storage laid on for those arriving on two wheels.
Rooms are cosy and en-suite, with family rooms available and drinks provided in the room, while a kitchen, bar and outdoor seating give guests places to gather beyond the bedroom. Breakfast is included, mountain views stretch out from the property, and 24 hour reception means arrivals don't need to be timed to the minute. Free on-site parking is available, and pets are welcome.
Beyond the guest house, the area offers golf, fishing, cycling and walking country, along with nearby pubs, restaurants and entertainment for evenings out. It's a straightforward, unpretentious stopping point for exploring Snowdonia rather than a destination in itself.

What guests say
Stayed here recently with a group of friends and had an excellent time. The venue boasts great facilities in a brilliant location with a very proactive host who provides plenty of information to ensure your stay is as great as possible. There is clearly a lot of thought provided by the host as evidenced by provison of a welcome drink upon arrival, or lovely details like bathrobes or biscuits. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area!

We rented the guest home for the Xmas period. The house was fantastic, the owners decorated it for Xmas and even set the table for us. We were a group of family with children and the house is the perfect set up. The hot tub was used daily and enjoyed by all guests. Best bit, it's only a short walk into town for shops, pubs and restaurants.

Highly recommended!! My husband and I stayed a few nights for our honeymoon, the welcome we got was just lovely, prosecco, chocolates and chocolate coated strawberries! Beautiful, clean and comfortable bedroom with everything we needed. Great location with private off road parking. And as for the breakfast, that was just amazing! We can't thank Tracy and Mark enough, such fantastic hosts running a beautiful guest house.
