Our family had a really great time at Hollywood Bowl in Broadway Central Plaza, Birmingham. The whole place was well laid out and well looked after, and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout. Special shoutout to Ali on security had a good chat with him one evening and he was really informative and gave us good advice in food places and local places to visit. There’s a lot on offer at Hollywood Bowl beyond just bowling. The arcade has a great variety of machines, there’s air hockey, and even colouring sheets for kids with crayons available which is a nice touch for the little ones. The VIP bowling lanes are a great option too if you want something a bit more premium with the red curtains for privacy. Food and drink options are solid plenty of choice including good vegetarian options, milkshakes, ice cream, and even Sahara Nuts. The deals on jugs of drinks are worth it the kids loved the slushies by the jug load, and there’s comfortable seating throughout, especially the booth seating near the bar. The pool tables are a nice addition as well, and it’s convenient that they take both contactless and coins. Location wise, it’s really handy right opposite the Odeon Luxe and close to places like Costa, Subway, Rock Up climbing, and others like Dominos, Dixy Chicken, and I Crave. Mulligans indoor crazy golf is right next door too, so there’s loads to do in the area A fun, well run venue with something for everyone. We can definitely recommend.

It was a great venue to celebrate. It was an online booking this went smoothly. As it was a birthday the staff did not hesitate to include bringing our own birthday cake over for us with all utensils needed. The food we ordered added a very nice touch as it very nice food and nicely presented. If we had any issues the staff cheerfully helped. I do recommend it and l am planning another visit as it was enjoyed by our group.

Great bowling place my kids love it here. We used the VIP area last week which was nice, the seats are comfy and its much more spacious. Good atmosphere and music in there and staff were friendly!
