About Delta Hotels by Marriott Birmingham
Birmingham's Five Ways area, close to Broad Street and the ICC, is where Delta Hotels by Marriott Birmingham makes its base on Hagley Road. It's a straightforward choice for both business trips and city breaks, with the convention centre and the entertainment along Broad Street within easy reach, plus pubs, bars and restaurants nearby.
The hotel has 104 rooms across five floors, including family and accessible options, all with en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning. Rooms are kept clean and comfortable, with a solid choice of breakfast dishes each morning, including freshly made omelettes. A restaurant and bar cover other meals, with room service and kids' meals also available. That said, some of the facilities show their age, so don't expect everything to feel brand new.
Guests get use of a gym, business services and meeting rooms, along with concierge and laundry services, luggage storage, and an electric vehicle charge point. On-site parking is available for a fee. Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, and pets are welcome. It's a practical base for exploring central Birmingham without needing a car once you're settled in.
What guests say
Stayed here for a visit with family and friends in the area. The staff was nice, and the room was fine, but there weren't any drawers or anything to unpack our luggage into. We ended up using the other bed in the room, but it made staying with our toddler difficult to keep things organized and tidy throughout the week

This hotel is an absolute must to visit. Great location, rooms were spacious and luxurious, the breakfast was amazing, spoilt for choice! Everything was clean, staff were so attentive, polite and super professional. Highly recommend ! Will be back again, thank you to all the staff and management for such an incredible experience.

The hotel owners need to be aware of these issues. I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel. The conditions were far below acceptable standards, and the unprofessional behavior of their staff members was deeply concerning. Lies from the housekeep of the state of the room. They didn't even offer to change our room. The whole hotel and in particular our in dire need of renovation, with visible mold in the bathroom and a pervasive sewage odor. They cant even turen off the bathroom heaters. These unsanitary conditions are unacceptable and reflect poorly on the hotel's hygiene standards. Furthermore, the conduct Managers, was the worst I have ever encountered. I request immediate attention to these issues and expect a satisfactory resolution to this complaint. Shaun - the general manager doesnt also speak to their guest when theres a complaint. Shocking customer experience and avoid staying here. You'll have avoided an appalkng stay.

Only went to a function room for a team meeting, food they served was abismal. Breakfast was a bowl of fruit and a plate of cubed flapjacks (?) Lunch was soggy! I've never had a soggy curry but somehow they managed it here at Delta. I didn't eat the rice or pasta options only the meat/veg. The cheese was nice though I think it was some kind of Paneer dish.
