What visitors say
A great visit, a tour was starting as I arrived and loved it. We walked a little around the area, learning about the history and how the trade was built up. Museum is full of interesting displays, I enjoyed seeing the fun inkwells. Plus I got to make my own pen nib, using the machinery that women in the past worked at.

Visited for the first time yesterday and there is a great collection and wonderful story to the history of the pen industry in Birmingham. The volunteers do an amazing job and were friendly and insightful. Making your own pen nib to take away was a highlight!

A fantastic little museum. 3 rooms packed with lots to see. Our guide, demonstrating the presses was incredibly knowledgeable. Some of the information presented was mind-blowing: how can someone make 28,000 nib blanks in a day?!? A multi-storey car is a few minutes' walk away, and the Metro station just a little further. Definitely worth a visit. Recommended. The little souvenir was a nice touch.
