Solsken

Solsken is a self-contained ground-floor annexe suited to couples, small families or friends sharing. It sleeps four: a double bedroom with fitted storage, plus a sofa bed in the living area that converts to accommodate two more. The open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting space flows together, creating an informal layout where everyone can gather. A walk-in shower room completes the accommodation.

The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking—electric oven, induction hob, fridge, freezer and microwave mean you can prepare meals rather than relying on takeaways. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included. Outside, a small enclosed patio with garden furniture and a barbecue offers a private outdoor area. One parking space comes with the property, and Pokesdown train station is roughly half a mile away if you want to explore further without driving.

The location works well for beach holidays: a ten-minute walk reaches the shoreline, and from there you can walk the promenade towards Bournemouth and Sandbanks in one direction, or to Hengistbury Head in the other. Pokesdown's high street has shops, cafes and restaurants within easy reach. The area also has escape rooms, mini golf, the Science Zone Museum, and venues hosting live events. No smoking inside the property.
