About Derby Manor
Breakfast is one of the things Derby Manor does particularly well, with a spread that has won over guests staying at this adults-only hotel on Derby Road in Bournemouth. There's also a bar on site for evening drinks, along with outdoor seating and a garden and picnic area for making the most of quieter moments outside.
Rooms are decorated with care, kept spotless and come with en-suite bathrooms, some featuring spa baths, plus comfortable beds and drinks available in the room. Air conditioning isn't a given in every room, worth bearing in mind if you're visiting during warmer months. Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere is quiet and relaxed rather than lively.
The hotel also has meeting rooms, a bridal suite and wedding venue facilities for those planning an event, along with free on-site parking, an electric vehicle charge point and 24 hour reception. Beyond the property, Bournemouth offers walking and cycling routes, watersports, fishing, and a good choice of pubs and restaurants nearby, with entertainment and the beach itself within easy reach.

Absolutely fabulous stay here last night. The hotel is BEAUTIFUL, the decor is stunning. Spotlessly clean. Our room was awesome, huge comfy bed. The staff are all so welcoming and friendly. Our only regret is not being able to stay longer, but we will definitely be back.

The hotel room was quite spacious, and its proximity to the beach was a definite advantage. However, I noticed the absence of air-conditioning and a refrigerator in the room. While the price of the hotel was a bit on the higher side, the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. I would gladly recommend this hotel to others.

We had an interesting stay here. The decor is interesting and not to my taste but rooms were clean. Coffees and teas not replenished when the house keeper had been in. Our rooms were not ready when we arrived but we were offered nothing in the way of an apology apart from verbally. It seemed very chaotic and disorganised and maybe understaffed. It might be classed as a boutique hotel but didn’t give that experience. Wouldn’t recommend. Too expensive for the service you receive.

Had a very warm and friendly welcome. The rooms are as advertised and super clean. I was in Salisbury and the bathroom was also very clean and large. Needed some water at nearly 10pm and the lady at the reception kindly gave me three bottles. I didnt eat there so cannot comment on the food. Everything was great! Close to the pier. You can hear the people walking in the room upstairs and the toilet dripped all night long thats the only negatives.
