About The Homewood
The Homewood sits above the wooded Limpley Stoke valley a few miles from Bradford-on-Avon, its ten acres of grounds and gardens giving wide views over the surrounding countryside toward Bath. The house has been renovated with a strong contemporary design sensibility, its rooms and suites mixing original architectural features with modern furnishings rather than the more traditional country house look found elsewhere in the area.
A destination spa, including an outdoor infinity pool, forms the centrepiece of a stay, alongside treatment rooms and wellness facilities that draw day visitors as well as overnight guests. The restaurant focuses on seasonal, largely local produce, with terrace dining in summer looking out over the valley.
Its position between Bradford-on-Avon and Bath makes The Homewood a practical base for exploring both towns, while its own grounds and spa are more than reason enough to stay close to home for a night or two.

What guests say
My wife Anna went for a bespoke body massage with Rebecca and she said it was the best one ever, and she’s been for a few. She’s not particularly mobile and the staff were empathetic and helpful. The weather was beautiful and the gardens, patio and food were all perfect. David Littlechild

Our experience at The Homewood was divine. From the moment we walked in, every detail was fabulous, noticed, and appreciated. We started off with Georgia (joyful and kind) explaining the hotel to us and informing us of an upgrade (which we are forever grateful for). You cannot beat the high-end European Hilton family of hotels; they treat the Lifetime Diamond Members well (and far better than in the USA). The Homewood is full of luxurious whimsical decor, and the "small details" make it extra special (such as: the candy bar, brownies in the room, included spa amenities, the Dyson, and more)! We had delicious drinks in the bar, amazing breakfast each morning w/ a great variety, and dinner at Olio which was sublime. The grounds are gorgeous. The staff is great and we are thankful they went out of their way to accommodate an early breakfast request so we could make a tour. The Homewood is delightful and I hope to return!

I feel very privileged to have stayed here over the weekend. The hotel exceeded my expectations from the very start. We were greeted by a friendly face and given such a warm, welcoming introduction before being shown to our stunning room. We stayed in Room 28, which was a short walk from reception, but it was totally worth it. The view stretched for miles, and the private bubbling hot tub was ready and waiting for us on arrival. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was so spacious you could almost get lost in it. Even the scent when entering the room felt luxurious and instantly calming. We had dinner in the restaurant and were looked after by Connor, who was knowledgeable, professional, and brought just the right amount of fun to the experience. He suggested we order tapas-style, was completely confident with allergy advice, and knew every aspect of the menu. The service was perfect 👌 The dining room itself was quirky yet charming, and I adored every single moment. Clearly, we enjoyed ourselves so much that we were the last ones to leave. After a blissful night’s sleep and an indulgent breakfast, we spent a few lazy hours in the spa. It was far bigger than I imagined, with endless little nooks and crannies to discover your own Zen zone. Peaceful, dreamy, and exactly what I needed. I can honestly say I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay, and I would absolutely love to return. The grounds, the atmosphere, the staff — and not forgetting the pick-and-mix stations, which were clearly designed for the adults to indulge in — all made this such a special place. I truly did not want to leave such a beautiful hotel

I love love loved this place 😍 So beautiful, outside and inside. It's about a 15mins drive from the bath spa station and city centre. Local taxis available and cheaper if you are travelling by train. Loads of parking onsite and grounds to cover, the spa area is amazing, high tech modern facilities available, I didn't get to use it but the views are glorious and so are the remarks from the other ladies in our group. Now my room was super special, cosy and fun. I stayed in the mews and loved it. Every detail was superbly done, the views 😍😍 The staff were so helpful and their attention to detail is impressive. Lovely meeting room spaces sorted around the hotel. The pods are so lovely and would be amazing in the summer. The outdoor spaces are well crafted to showcase the beauty of the hilltop views. There is a lounge area that has board games etc for entertainment, which I thought is a really sweet touch! Dinner was so good, every course was beautifully selected and it portrayed the heart of the chefs 👏🏽 The sweet pantry, just so thoughtful little touches that make you feel like you are being looked after. It comes highly recommended and I would stay here again and again 👌🏽❤️
