It's ok for a walk on a nice day, but it wasn't worth £6 per person entry fee.(In my opinion) The girl in the shop was friendly and helpful. There are 6 well marked walks but some of them are not suitable for folk with limited mobility. The tracks were well marked but too muddy for my liking. I enjoy a coffee and scone after my walk but was disappointed to find that the cafe was closed on the day we visited. (Tuesday)

Visiting this estate is a really nice experience. It is a very. relaxing tranquil place There are many peaceful spots where you can marvel at the sheer explosions of Colour in the gardens .The house is not open to the public as it is occupied by the current clan McMillan chief and his family. There is a lovely garden tearoom, a big pond full of birdlife and and an adjacent animal sanctuary with separate entry which is only £2 extra. Very reasonable in this greedy age. Here you will find Alpacas, Llamas, beautiful horses and ponies. You can feed pigs.Pet Guinea pigs.Kids will love it. There is ample parking close to the tearoom. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Its a great day out.
