A retro-styled B&B on St Georges Terrace for travellers who want Brighton's seafront and cafe culture within easy walking distance.
About Snooze
Snooze suits anyone after a design-led base near the seafront rather than a big corporate hotel. This B&B on St Georges Terrace puts guests within easy reach of Brighton's cafes, restaurants and coastline, with the city centre also close by for those wanting to explore further afield.
Rooms are done out in a distinctive retro style, each en-suite and fitted with comfortable beds and showers with a proper amount of pressure. Guests get free WiFi, drinks in the room, and breakfast to start the day, while luggage storage and 24 hour reception make arrivals and late nights straightforward. Staff handle check-in and parking with a personal touch, which helps smooth over the practicalities of a city stay.
Beyond the front door there's plenty to fill a stay, from pubs and restaurants nearby to walking and cycling routes, watersports, golf and fishing for those wanting to get further out. It's a fitting spot for couples or solo travellers who want character and a good location over anything flashy.
What guests say
Beautifully decorated room with perfect vintage aesthetic for our visit. The bathroom was modern and in perfect condition while still being vintage. The owners were very cool and helpful. The location was perfect the neighborhood had lots going on while still being quiet and relaxed. Will definitely come back. If there was one little critique it would be the bed, which was comfortable with high quality bedding but it had a little bit of a soft edge which made for a bit of an awkward sleep. But over all love this room.

Stayed for 2 nights in room 5, superking or twin bed room. Very funky retro bedroom from the era I was born. Access easy, code to door pad given. Small but very functional bathroom, great shower. Everything very clean. Paul helpful, if we needed anything to contact as not onsite all day. Kettle provided with coffee/tea/biscuits. Small TV. Shower gel/shampoo/conditioner provided. If summer and warm (it was hot) I’d stay in a room facing the back next time due to outside noise waking us (windows were open wide due to heat). In colder months wouldn’t be an issue with windows shut. Not something Snooze can control of course! Didn’t hear guests in other rooms as all respectful. A fan would be nice in summer in the rooms, as it was pretty warm. Snooze is about a 15 minute walk to main part of Brighton and not far from seafront. Found a lovely cafe for breakfast called Meo 5 minutes away. All in all enjoyed our stay.

My partner and I stayed here for two nights over the Brighton marathon weekend. The room was comfortable, clean with fabuous decor and good amenities. Tony contacted us ahead of arrival to confirm check in details which was well organised. The area is lovely, close to lots of cafes, restaurants and by the seafront and within easy walking distance to the centre of Brighton. Highly recommended and would stay here again.

Absolutely loooved our stay here!!! We are so glad we went with Snooze instead of a larger hotel on the front! Paul is so so lovely, our room was always replenished every single day, fresh towels, bedding, tea and coffee, biscuits. The location is great, and plenty of info in the room with local shops, pubs, a great pizza place. The rooms are so spacious and free toiletries are supplied too if needed. Iron, ironing board, hairdryer, radio, fan. Anything you'll need, it'll be there. It's a great location, in the heart of Kemptown, a part of Brighton we hadn't even known about the last time we'd visited but the Brighton Flea Market was so cool and there are panties of cafes and bakeries to visit in a less than 5 minute walk. We will definitely be returning to Snooze in the future! Thank you so much for such a lovely stay🫶🏼
