About Aquarium Guest House

Madeira Place sits close to Brighton's seafront, one of a row of period terraces just back from the water, and it's here that Aquarium Guest House occupies a traditional 19th-century building. The location puts guests within easy reach of the Brighton Centre and the town itself, with the shore only a short stroll away.

There are six rooms in total, kept light and airy in keeping with the building's period character. Each comes with free WiFi, and mornings start with a breakfast basket included in your stay. Luggage storage is available too, useful for anyone arriving early or catching a late train home.

It's a small, straightforward base rather than a grand hotel, well suited to those who want to be near the seafront and Brighton's centre without paying for extras they won't use. With six rooms, it stays intimate throughout your stay.

My partner and I have booked a 4 night stay at the guest house and the service was impeccable rivalling that of chain hotels. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast basket as well as coffee and tea were refilled daily throughout our stay. We were given fresh floor towels everyday too and Scott and Helen were absolutely wonderful hosts! We could hop out for a quick visit to the beachfront or local shops given the convenient location of the guest house. Our only inconvenience was the faulty main lighting in our room as the electrician could not fix it in time but it was a minor issue as there are still bedside lighting. I also recommend booking directly through the Aquarium Guest House website as you can get a cheaper rate compared to 3rd party websites and any arrangements can still be made personally with the hosts.

We just had a lovely weekend stay at the Aquarium. The room was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast basket was a nice touch. Scott was really helpful and informative. Great location with the beach literally a minute away and central. Would recommend and would stay again. Many thanks!

Lovely place to stay, Friendly owners and parking available at £10 a day. It's expensive in terms of hotels but in Brighton and so close to the pier i'd say it's reasonably priced.
