About Atlantic Seafront

Atlantic Seafront occupies a townhouse on Marine Parade in Brighton, the kind of period building typical of this stretch of seafront, now run as guest accommodation with straightforward, comfortable rooms rather than anything overly styled. Sea views feature in many rooms, and each comes with an en-suite bathroom, free WiFi and drinks available in-room. Family rooms are available for those travelling with children, and reception is staffed around the clock.

Mornings start with a full English breakfast, and the location puts Brighton's pier and the Royal Pavilion within easy reach, along with the pubs, bars and restaurants that line the seafront and surrounding streets. Cycling and walking routes run nearby, and those wanting to get out on the water will find watersports on offer close by, while fishing and golf are also within reach for guests wanting to venture a little further.

It's a simple, no-frills base rather than a luxury stay, well suited to those who want a central Brighton address with a sea view and don't need more than the essentials.

My four-night stay at Atlantic Sea View Hotel was excellent! The room was very clean and well-maintained, which made the stay immediately comfortable. The location is a real highlight—right opposite the pier, with beautiful sea views and easy access to everything in Brighton. Leo, the manager, was very kind and friendly, and made me feel welcome throughout my stay. Overall, I was very pleased and would happily recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Brighton. I would gladly return! 🙂

Lovely stay at the Atlantic. Comfy rooms and very clean. The manager is a delight and so friendly. Ideally located - we will definitely be back.

Leo is fantastic. I was recovering from a broken foot and he saw me coming up the steps with a walking stick. He upgraded me to a floor below before I even checked in. Great place, great location and reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Overall a good place but there was an issue - I couldn’t sleep the first night because the room was hot and I found the pillows to be very firm. The fan helped a lot but I thought I’d see if the manager could give me an empty sheet and maybe a softer pillow? Initially he refused to give me an empty sheet, saying he needed them for the other rooms, and he tried to convince me that the pillows were, in fact, soft. He also tried to persuade me that the heat shouldn’t be a problem because I’ve come from London where it’s even hotter 🤷🏻‍♂️ He’s a nice guy but his impulse was to deny there were any problems and avoid dealing with them. In the end he DID give me an empty sheet, which helped greatly, but I did have to make a trip to IKEA and buy a softer pillow. I would still recommend staying here, it’s clean and well located, and the manager agreed to a later checkout (11am instead of 10:30) but be warned if you struggle with hard pillows.
