About Brighton Breeze Hotel
Brighton Breeze Hotel suits visitors after a no-frills base for a short stay rather than a polished city break. This is a modest 11-room hotel on Charlotte Street, within easy reach of the Brighton Centre, and works best for guests who care more about location and price than finish and fittings.
Rooms are simple, and free WiFi is included throughout, along with luggage storage for those arriving early or leaving late. Staff are consistently singled out as helpful and willing to assist where they can, which counts for a lot given that check-in has been known to be a slow process and some rooms show signs of wear that could do with attention.
The setting in Brighton puts guests close to the Brighton Centre and within a short distance of the town itself, making it a workable option for anyone prioritising convenience and a friendly welcome over polish.
What guests say
We arrived at the property as scheduled and immediately tried to contact the host by both phone calls and messages. Unfortunately, despite our repeated attempts to communicate, we received no response for several hours. It appeared that they deliberately waited until 11:00 p.m. before finally replying, only to inform us that the check-in period had already ended and that they could no longer accommodate us. To make matters even worse, when we investigated the situation further, we discovered that Room No. 1, which we had reserved and paid for, was already occupied by other guests. We were shocked and disappointed to find that our booking had apparently been ignored or mishandled. During this time, we also met another couple who were experiencing exactly the same problem. They, too, had arrived expecting to check in and had been left without a room or any proper assistance. The entire experience was extremely stressful, frustrating, and unprofessional. We had made our reservation in good faith and expected basic communication and respect as paying customers. Instead, we were left stranded late at night with no solution, no support, and no accountability from the property management. We strongly advise future travelers to think carefully before booking this accommodation. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend it to anyone. Do not risk wasting your money, time, or vacation plans. We believe this situation was handled improperly and unfairly. As a result, we will be pursuing the appropriate legal actions and reporting this matter through the proper channels to protect other guests from experiencing the same treatment. So dirty place

Terrible experience. I tour with a band and I’ve seen some pretty nasty stuff in rooms but this place takes the cake. So….. it took two hours to get checked in and was up charged just to get the combination for our rooms. While standing in the lobbywaiting, we noticed something really creepy. The room to the left when you first walk in had its door cracked the smallest sliver and we could see light coming from the other side, only to notice someones eyeball watching us like we couldn’t see them peeking through the crack. This happened for about 20 minuets until we decided we were creeped out enough to step back out into the rain. It felt like something g out of a horror movie. After finally paying the up charge, the security deposit and getting our door code, we stepped into our mold infested room. I work as a carpenter and couldn’t believe my eyes. The ceiling was drooping 6 inches in spots due to water damage and if touched just crumbled. The walls have been poorly panted over multiple times due to the black mold issue. Behind my bed where they decided it was to hard to paint over cause you would have to move a bed was lots and lots of black mold… Pulled up my bed sheets to find blood and pee(or puke) stains all over it. One of our bunks had a blanket on top of wood slats as the actual bed. Needless to say, this place is a terrible place to even spend ten minuets. Save yourself and do not book here.

My partner booked a lovely holiday for us in Brighton and made the mistake of booking Boho Breeze air BnB which also is listed under another name and price. She paid £179 for 3 nights and we didn't even stay 1 because we couldn't get in. We arrived around 5:30pm with a call ahead to say we'd be a little late for the 4pm check-in which they were fine with. When we arrived, the front door of the building was open and there were other people also trying to get into their rooms with no luck. No reception or human service. Sign in is literally a scannable code that takes you to a chatbot AI WhatsApp that doesn't work. We provided all evidence of our booking including ID and booking number all to try and get our door number and code. The chatbot never responded even after multiple attempts. We spent 2 hours trying to get into the place but no luck and ended up wandering around Brighton for hours trying to find a place to stay by which time it was dark and we settled on Travelodge. The listing states "No Refunds" but seeing as a service was paid for and never received, we will be disputing the payment.

I never managed to get into my room. I arrived, completed the online check-in, but still didn’t receive an access code. In the end I had to cancel, and at around 23:00 I was standing outside the property with no way to enter. All other hotels were fully booked, so I had to stay with friends. This was extremely stressful and unacceptable. I do not recommend this place.
