What diners say
Fantastic gem on Acre Lane! Food is deliciously spicy and spiced, tastes 100% authentic. Starters were perfect. Good portion for value, Fried mushrooms were spicy, with a subtle crunch and definitely made fresh! Both noodles were silky with a bite to them, meat and veg option 10/10. With lovely aromatic spices and spicy chilly. Beef shank was tender and thinly cut. For the veggie option is was a good portion of pak Choy The restaurant it self is beautifully set up, with a lovely room at the back with nice natural light coming in and a very tasteful decoration. A great place for either a calm lunch or a nice dinner out on a weekend. Love to have a great restaurant near me! (currently ordering takeaway after eating there yesterday.. it is THAT good!)

Found this gem on a whim whilst we were in the area. Great food! We had the Szechuan green beans (10/10), pan fried beef buns (4/10 - not enough filling), braised rib soup noodles (9/10 - the soup and beef were really good), the Biang Biang noodles with braised shank (9/10 - noodles carried the flavour) and the deep fried milk (10/10 - tasted like fresh seaside doughnuts). The food is all halal which was great. Live music on Friday and Saturday and she was amazing, the staff were lovely and very welcoming. The restaurant was very busy because they have 30% off this month for their 1 year anniversary so the food took some time but we were happy to wait. Would highly recommend if you're in the area

Such a cozy find in Brixton! Visited on a Saturday evening and the atmosphere was warm and inviting they even had live music which made it extra special. We tried the spicy beef soup noodles, cumin beef rice, cumin beef burger, braised beef burger, sweet and sour chicken, vegetable spring rolls, deep fried milk, and brown sugar rice cake — everything was packed with flavour. The beef burger was perfectly crispy outside and juicy inside, and the desserts were a lovely surprise ending. And its halal,

Wanted to try some hand pulled noodles and this place came up in my search. This is a great spot for ambiance and decor. We had the steamed beef buns and the wontons in light broth to start The buns were a bit dry on the inside for steamed buns, the light broth was very “light” had to add soy and chilli oil, but that may be because it was a light broth. For main we had the braised rib beef noodles and the classic beef broth noodles (both with hand pulled noodles) The noodles were good and hearty, the classic beef broth was good, but there wasn’t much beef The braised rib on the other hand was on good sized beef rib, which is cut up table side, there was plenty of meat in this dish, but this broth was extremely salty and couldn’t be eaten (not for my palate) Staff were friendly once we we’re seated The soy sauce/vinegar holders are a bit off putting as they had residual liquids in them which made them look dirty There was a lady playing live music on a koto (if that’s its name?) that was a nice touch.
