About Premier Inn London Brixton
Premier Inn London Brixton is a purpose-built four-floor hotel on Coldharbour Lane, holding 89 en-suite rooms with a lift serving all levels and accessible rooms available. It's a straightforward, well-run base in South London rather than a period property, designed for easy, no-fuss stays.
Rooms come with air conditioning, free WiFi and drinks available in-room, and the beds are a particular strength, consistently singled out as comfortable. Some guests have noted the air conditioning doesn't always keep rooms as cool as they'd like, worth bearing in mind in warmer weather. Downstairs there's a restaurant and bar, with a varied breakfast buffet each morning, and staff are frequently described as friendly and helpful. Reception operates around the clock, useful for late arrivals.
The location is a strong draw, close to Brixton station and within easy reach of Brixton Village, plus a good spread of nearby pubs, bars and restaurants for evenings out. Parking isn't on-site but chargeable options are available nearby for those driving in.

--- ⭐ 5/5 – Fantastic Stay at Premier Inn Brixton! I stayed at the Premier Inn on Coldharbour Lane in Brixton on 5th January and had such a brilliant experience. The gentleman on reception was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful — he made check‑in feel effortless and set a really positive tone for the whole stay. My room was spotless, comfortable, and perfect for a good night’s sleep. Breakfast the next morning was tasty with plenty of choice to start the day well. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations. Great location, great service, great comfort. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Brixton or LonDon.

We like premier inn with the good night sleep and having a good bath those experiences for us is great. But NO parking. Reception on second floor. Takes a while to get into the building waiting to be let in. Feels like skeleton staff experience. This was our second time. Did not fully enjoyed it. Breakfast coffee ☕️ watery, fruit salad smelt fermented fruit flies about.

Extremely disappointing stay. The room had visible mould around the window and bathroom, and the overall cleanliness was well below what I would expect from Premier Inn. The biggest issue was the noise. Our room was next to a bar/club, and there was loud music, shouting and singing until around 3am. The noise was so severe that it could be felt through the room, making sleep almost impossible. My partner is autistic and particularly sensitive to noise, which made the situation even more distressing. We raised our concerns with reception but felt they were dismissed rather than taken seriously. We were eventually moved to another room, but the noise was actually worse. What disappointed me most was the lack of customer care. Despite acknowledging that the room condition and handling of our concerns fell below their expected standards, Premier Inn refused to offer any compensation or goodwill gesture. I appreciate that the hotel is located near nightlife venues, but cleanliness, room maintenance and professional customer service are entirely within the hotel’s control. Unfortunately, this stay fell far below expectations. I raised my concerns with customer relations who offered me nothing in terms of a goodwill gesture or compensation for the awful stay and experience.

The customer service here at front desk was excellent. I was leaving a suitcase before an event and they were extremely helpful and friendly and efficient. Shout out to Tee. Made my whole day turn around and I feel extremely grateful to the team here and Premier Inn as a whole. I will make a donation to the suggested charity to say an extra thank you.
