Lavender Cottage

Lavender Cottage sits in a village on the edge of Broadland, where the River Bure draws boats and the landscape opens into some of England's most distinctive waterways. The immediate surroundings are walkable and varied: within a minute or two you'll find four pubs (two with beer gardens overlooking the river), restaurants serving Chinese and Indian food, a fish and chip shop, two butchers including a deli counter, a tea room and a general store. Reedham Stores is close by. For those who want to explore further, the Norfolk Broads are within reach.

The cottage itself was refurbished in 2023. Downstairs is open plan: a living space with a wood-burning stove and smart TV flows into a dining area and kitchen equipped with an electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and breakfast bar. A utility room contains the washing machine. Upstairs are two bedrooms—a super king and a double—served by a bathroom with a bath, shower and heated towel rail. The essentials are covered: mains heating, electricity, bed linen, towels, wi-fi and wood for the stove are all included. There is parking for two cars on site and a bike store.

A large enclosed garden at the back has a sitting-out area with furniture, good for children to play and adults to relax. The cottage takes one dog at no extra cost. No smoking indoors. Check-in is after 15:00, checkout before 10:00.
