River View

River View comes fully equipped for a self-catering stay. The kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, and all the basics; electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. Two bedrooms sleep four: one kingsize, one with twin singles. The single bathroom has a walk-in shower and heated towel rail. An outbuilding holds a fridge for bait, and there's parking for three cars on site.

The lodge is set on one level, opening directly onto a terrace and rear garden that leads to the River Yare. Inside, the open-plan living space has a smart TV and electric fire, with patio doors framing the water. If you fish (licence required), the garden offers direct access to the river. A mooring comes with the property, and slipway access at nearby Buccaneer Boats Marina can be arranged beforehand. The village of Brundall has a railway station, shops, takeaways and pubs within a mile. Note that the garden is unfenced and borders the river; the elevated terrace has a one-foot gap beneath the trellis, which matters if you're bringing small children or dogs. No smoking inside.
