The Conifers

The Conifers sits on the edge of extensive heathland and woodland designated as a site of special scientific interest. A gate at the rear opens directly onto walking routes through this 200-acre landscape, where kingfishers, deer, barn owls and silver studded blue butterflies are regular sightings. The property itself is compact and single-storey, with everything on one level: a combined living and dining space, a kitchen for self-catering, one bedroom with a zip-and-link bed that converts between super-king and twin configuration, and a shower room. An enclosed patio with garden furniture sits to the rear.

Essentials like electricity, bed linen and towels are provided. Parking is on site. One dog is welcome. The nearest pub is within a mile. Aylsham, a Georgian market town with shops and supermarkets, lies 4 miles away and connects to Marriott's Way, a 26-mile cycle route that runs to Norwich. The Norfolk coast is within reach for beach days, with Cromer, Blakeney and Wells all accessible for a drive out.
