Fantastic campsite, with great amenities and location couldn’t be better for exploring the forest. This campsite is perfectly sized, small without feeling overcrowded. Showers/toilets are well maintained, clean etc. lovely walk from campsite across the forest to Brockenhurst. Great for families, we loved it (group of 24!). Thank you Long Meadow. Will be returning!

Fantastic find! As seasoned campers we've had our highs and lows of campsites. Long Meadow Campsite sits up there with the best. From friendly and prompt check in, clean and well maintained facilities to a useful site shop with ice cold drinks. It really is a find. Love the fact they're strict on pitch spacing with gives each tent a generous space and room for kids to play Frisbee around. Electrical hook ups and fast WiFi also allowed the teens a bit of early evening downtime from the sun. Equally 'quiet time' starts at 10am which is a blessing after an active day in the new forest. Most campers respect this but obviously some noise travels from evening chatter. Location is the highlight, settled between Brockenhurst and Lyndhurst, you really are in the heart of the forest, with bike and walk trails literally through a gate from the site. I woke in the night to visit the loo and was amazed to see a group of Deer quietly munching grass by our tent... simply magic to be blessed by nature. Cannot recommend this place enough and glad we can enjoy one last night before we head home!

Back from 3 night stay in our Campervan and really impressed with Long Meadow and the New Forest which were both new to us. Great cycling through the woods and being able to visit Brockenhurst and Lyndhurst for pubs and amenities, easily from the site is great. Waking to be surrounded by dozens of deer was special too. The staff, organisation, cleanliness and recycling were all excellent. Loved to food waste caddies by the washing stations. We will return.

A great stay as usual. Staff are so friendly and helpful. The wash room and facilities are always clean despite a weekend of families arriving. The site sits right in the Forest but in lovely open fields where the deer are abundant and the walks are plentiful. Ideal for doggies , cycling and just relaxing!
