Balmer Lawn Hotel

About Balmer Lawn Hotel

Balmer Lawn Hotel works well for families after a proper base near the New Forest, and equally for couples wanting a relaxed few days with spa access thrown in. It sits right on Lyndhurst Road in Brockenhurst, with 54 rooms including family options, so there's flexibility whether you're travelling with children or just each other.

Inside, guests get a restaurant serving breakfast and kids' meals, a bar, and drinks available in-room, plus a gym, spa and sauna, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and a garden with outdoor seating for slower mornings. Practical extras run to free WiFi, a lift, luggage storage, packed lunches for day trips, and free on-site parking with an electric vehicle charge point. The hotel also handles weddings, with a bridal suite and meeting rooms for those planning something bigger, and pets are welcome for those travelling with dogs.

Beyond the grounds, the New Forest National Park offers walking and cycling routes, and horse riding is available nearby, along with a golf course and local pubs and restaurants for evenings out. It suits an active countryside break as much as a quiet one spent mostly on-site.
