Tucked into the New Forest National Park within walking distance of Brockenhurst, Tile Barn Outdoor Centre offers tent camping with a difference. Beyond the usual shower blocks and drinking water, the site runs its own archery and rock climbing sessions – a bonus if you've got kids itching to try something adventurous between forest walks. Campfires are allowed, and WiFi keeps you connected when you need it.

Note that dogs aren't permitted, so you'll need to leave four-legged friends at home. The location is hard to beat, though: ancient woodland and wild ponies are right on your doorstep, and Brockenhurst's pubs and shops are an easy stroll away when supplies run low.

Thank you so much for a lovely stay at Tile Barn! The staff were friendly, washing area and bathrooms were great and well maintained and the campsite itself was brill. We opted for a 5 man tent that was already pitched up and we're so glad we did. Made camping with 2 children (1 being only 1 years old), super easy, and the tents were lovely and big and clean too. My review is 4 and a half (can't add a half), as we feel it would be even better, if there was a park for the little ones. Just something else to help keep them amused. It would be a lovely addition! My 5 year old even mentioned it 😆. All in all, we would be back again and would recommend highly to anyone. Thank you!

Very nice campsite. We used one of their tents. The tent was more than big enough for 3 of us. The bedroom floors have air in them which was a relief as my airbed decided to give up on me and completely deflated. Tent had been cleaned for our arrival and was better set up than if I had done it on my own. Shower rooms were clean and tidy. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. I hired a gas bbq for £10 a night and that included the gas as well (you will need matches/lighter as no built-in in ignition). All in all a good couple of nights camping.

We loved our stay in the campsite absolutely brilliant. The staff are very welcoming and helpful and we loved having the fridges and kettles just to make life that little bit easier in the mornings. My daughter signed up for the activities which she really enjoyed. See you next year
