What visitors say
Top Golf Chigwell = FUN FUN FUN! The Mrs and I had a great time at Top Golf last night and were very impressed with the venue and staff. As a previous door supervisor for Top Golf a lot has changed in the last 12 years of working here. Let’s start with the entry. There is ample parking at the venue and now has a revamped eating/smoking area at front. The venue is well lit with ambient lighting and the outside was clean, tidy and had a family friendly vibe. The cue to book was long, however staff booked us in, explained everything to us and were very welcoming which helped take your focus away from the wait time (We did go on a busy day/time). We were then greeted by Tyler who was very professional and knowledgeable of the venue and current promotions on offer. I love that there is now short safety briefing that takes place just before you collect your golf balls by once again, a lovely member of staff. We managed to get a Bay with in 30mins which gave us enough time to order food, grab some drinks and take in the new changes of the venue. Unfortunately, the wait time for food was the only downfall for the venue. Food took over 1hrs to come and when you consider we ordered whilst we waited for a Bay and played one game, that’s a long time. However, that being said this was quickly rectified by a young man called MJ who went down personal and collected our food after notifying him of the wait time. He was extremely apologetic and checked up on us a few times just to make sure we were happy. This is why I would still give the venue a 5 star rating. Things can happen, it’s how you deal with them that makes customers either happy or upset. Well done MJ! 👏🏿 The food it self was finger licking good, especially the Korean wings 😋Prices were fair and we took advantage of their £23 for 2 games, 1 meal and 1 drink per adult. The game itself ran smoothly with no glitches or interruptions. The Bay was clean, tidy and had a heater to keep you warm if needed as the venue is mostly outside. I must say I am extremely impressed by the new building design/upgrades and must applaud the management “Bailey” for well trained staff team. It was also nice to see professional security staff still making sure all are safe, so thank Kenny and crew. It’s safe to say I had a fantastic night and was taken down memory lane. Thank you Top Golf for still being a fantastic venue to attend with either a date, friends, solo trip or family.

I took my time leaving this one and I am glad. Few things to know and we aware of. Book in advance otherwise you may get stuck for hours. Forst floor is easier for kids to play from. Don't reply on food here. Many times things were out of stock. Still we come to play and enjoy ourselves and we manage to do just that.

Awesome place to have a night out with the boys. I'd recommend most people to specifically book a bay upstairs if you're coming in the early evening/night. The service is good. Food is nice, albeit commonly out of stock and not halal. Slightly pricey. Fun, buzzing atmosphere. Toilets are clean. However, location is only accessible by car as there is no public transport that can get you here safely, especially if you are commuting at night. Expect long queues if you come after 8pm on Friday or Saturday. Typically, 30 - 90 minutes if not longer. Nevertheless, a fun place to go as a group.

Went with my family, had 2 bays next to each other due to the amount of us, however, we had to keep to our own bay as that's the rule. Arrived with no idea what to expect and staff were not helpful, despite the being an entire supply of them. The bar staff recommended an alcoholic drink when asked if they had j20, I wasn't impressed as was for children, not exactly a similar comparison. There was no safety instruction or guide as to what to do. The food was amazing, the only plus to this place. Very over priced for what it is and the amusement area hasn't been built yet. Security was over the top, which makes me wonder what happens here. We are a family, did you need to hover? I noticed this was the case with every bay on our floor. Clearly they over charge it they can afford to have so much security and staff standing around doing nothing while giving no explanation as to how anything works. We love driving ranges but we won't be returning to this one.
