About London Chigwell Prince Regent Hotel, BW Signature Collection
Guests at London Chigwell Prince Regent Hotel, BW Signature Collection walk into a clean, roomy en-suite with the essentials covered: room service, in-room drinks, and a lift serving all three floors, so there's no need to haul luggage up stairs. Family rooms are available for those travelling with children, and porter and concierge services are on hand for anything else. Some rooms do run warm, as air conditioning isn't guaranteed throughout, so it's worth bearing in mind in summer months.
Downstairs, the hotel runs a restaurant and bar alongside a generous breakfast spread with plenty of choice, plus packed lunches and kids' meals for families. Outside there's a garden and picnic area for guests who want to eat al fresco, and the grounds double as a popular setting for weddings and events, with meeting rooms and business services also on site. Laundry and luggage storage round out the practical side of a stay.
On-site parking is available for a charge, though some find the system a little unclear, so it's worth checking arrangements on arrival. The Chigwell location gives easy access into London, and there's golf, fishing, and pubs and restaurants nearby for those wanting to explore beyond the hotel grounds. Pets are welcome too.

What guests say
We had a fantastic experience with our group booking at this hotel in May. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish, and our guests had a very positive stay. The bedrooms were comfortable and well-presented, and the check-in process was seamless, which our guests greatly appreciated. We also needed to add an extra bedroom at the last minute, and the team were incredibly flexible and accommodating in helping us make that happen. A special thank you to Oana, the Sales Manager, who coordinated our group booking. She was outstanding throughout the process— she was very professional and responsive! Her support made organising the booking so much easier, and we were grateful for her attention to detail and excellent customer service. Please also pass on our thanks to the rest of the team for their hard work and hospitality. We received wonderful feedback from our guests and would be very happy to stay here again and recommend the hotel to others.

They do a lot of weddings and if you're there for a business event when they have a social event you won't get much sleep. I think if you ask they can try and keep different guests in different parts of the hotel. I ordered a double room that was very pokey tucked into a grass bank very dingy and damp smelling with a couple of plug in radiators. The pictures were alot more appealing than the place was and at 140 a night its wasn't what I'd call cheap. I think if you knew the lie of the land you could get a better experience. I did have a decent room on one of my stays and there is parking. Once you realise there's an overflow round the back.

Went here for an event yesterday. We had a buffet style dinner and the plates were FILTHY. It’s like they had been kept on the floor or in a dirty cupboard and had gathered fluff, rocks and all sorts of disgusting dirt on them. Lip stains were found on some glasses and the others were just not very clean. The cutlery was no better. The serving staff were good, but the hotel management needs to do a better job at ensuring the utensils are clean. I dread to think about the cleanliness of the tools used to cook in the kitchen. If they were brazen enough to give guests dirty plates then only God knows what’s happening behind the scenes. Myself and other guests felt sick and disrespected. I’d never book this place for an event, or attend another event here.

Room was a decent size. But hot. No AC. And a small window. Hall great size. Perfect for our functions. The grounds are open a picturesque. Great for children having a run round, sitting and relaxing as well as photo ops. If they had a spa, I would spend a few nights.

People say this hotel is a great venue for events and weddings, offering clean, spacious rooms, a good breakfast with many choices, and helpful staff.
Other reviews mention rooms can be hot with no air conditioning and parking can be confusing and costly.
