The Annexe

The Annexe is a one-bedroom cottage attached to the owner's home, set in the village of Kingston near Canterbury. Everything happens on one level: you walk into an open-plan living and dining area, with the bedroom and shower room accessible without stairs. Patio doors in both the bedroom and living space lead directly onto an enclosed garden with patio and furniture, so light floods through and you can step outside whenever you like.

The living area has a sofa bed alongside the main television setup. The kitchen is fully equipped—oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer all provided—so you can cook properly or keep things simple. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are included. There's parking for one car on site. The garden is shared with the owner and has two steps to be aware of.

Kingston sits quiet but not isolated: a pub is a short walk away, and Bridge has shops and more amenities nearby. Canterbury itself is seven miles off, home to the cathedral, historic walls and plenty of restaurants. The Kent Downs and countryside walks are on your doorstep. Smoking is not permitted. This suits couples looking for a relaxed base, or anyone who needs everything on a single floor.
