What visitors say
Very cool mini golf spot conveniently located in the car park for the shopping centre. We parked right near the entrance so we’re able to drop off our bags, coats, etc and pop in once we were done in the shops. There’s 2 courses and they’re about £18.50 each, they do blue light, student, and senior discount. Both courses were pretty cool, there is a lot of interesting structures around the course like the bird cage, the hotel, and the singing frogs! It’s good fun and we spent about an hour, maybe just longer doing both courses as a couple. Went on a weekday around 3pm and there weren’t many people about.

An absolutely amazing golf course. We came here as a party of 3. There are 2 courses, with 18 holes to each course. The environment to the room is very life like and feels just like a jungle with each course having their own feel and visual effects. There are even projections used to make some objects feel as they're interacting with you as hit the ball past certain points. The course themselves were very fun, but at times people can feel rushed due to the volume of people golfing and how quick the balls are being potted compared to other people waiting to play the next holes. We had this issue where a family weren't even playing the game properly and were just sliding the balls around the courses if they were playing hockey. Eventually someone in our party tried to get the message across to one of the parents but they just stood there and shook their heads. The issue here was because they were sliding the balls around, they were always so close behind us and at times put their balls on our course without waiting until the course was clear. Lucky enough management had sorted this out and had apologised. They refunded us for the 2 seperate courses and even gave us free vouchers for the future use for the 2 courses. The manager went above and beyond, dues to him for doing this, as it was more than we were expected. Will definitely be returning, it was a lot of fun.

Treetop Golf Cardiff is a well themed venue. The lighting and sound effects are excellent and create a great atmosphere. The only downside is that the holes can get a bit repetitive, as several layouts feel very similar. However, I would still recommend playing both courses to get the full experience. Overall, a good visit.

We like to do try mini golf when we travel, so we decided to check this one out in Cardiff. Located in a large indoor mall, you go up an elevator/lift to get to it. We were there on a summer Saturday and it was quite busy, but we only had to wait a few minutes for the family in front of us to finish before we could start each hole. There are two colorful 18 hole courses to choose from. Cashless admission for adults is £11.50 for one course (Aug 2025). No pre-booking, first come, first served. I wouldn't say the course is the most exciting/challenging one I've ever done, but the decor and atmosphere are fun. There's a café off to one side serving pizza, cocktails, mocktails and coffee, but we didn't stay to eat or drink. Date of experience: Aug 2025. Us: Early 50s.
