What guests say
I had the pleasure of staying at Cardiff Marriott Hotel from 10 June to 30 July 2026, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The hotel is in a great location, my room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and I really enjoyed the warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay. What made my experience truly exceptional was the outstanding service from the hotel team. I would like to express my sincere thanks to the Reception staff – Mark, Tam, Deborah, Cherry, and Zsofia – and to the Housekeeping team – Anita and Clare. Every one of them was friendly, professional, caring, and always greeted me with a genuine smile. They made me feel welcome every single day and treated me like family. Their kindness and dedication made my stay so comfortable and memorable. Thank you all for your wonderful hospitality and for making my nearly two-month stay such a pleasant experience. I truly appreciate everything you did for me and look forward to staying at Cardiff Marriott Hotel again in the future. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We stayed here due to its convenient location - close to both the railway station and the Utilita Arena, where we were attending an event. They are both just a few minutes walk away. It is in a very busy part of the city, but as someone who has to take ear plugs with me for hotel stays anyway - looking at you, people who hold shouty conversations in the corridors and drag their furniture around their rooms whilst Irish dancing - so the external goings on wasnt an issue for me. We booked 'Executive Rooms' which gave us access to the lounge, including for our breakfast, which was nice as it was quiet. The rooms are on the recently refurbished mezzanine level, and they were a good size, clean, and well maintained. The bathrooms had the very rare quality of having hair conditioner that is actually any good! Check in was a breeze, the ladies on reception were efficient and friendly. The lounge had more in the way of food than I was expecting, think of a minature airport lounge. There was plenty of room to sit, and having breakfast in there felt a lot more relaxed. The member of staff in there at breakfast time was great, got me some veggie sausages on request, and they were lovely! The breakfast buffet had good quality food. I usually stay in the Hilton when I come to Cardiff, but was rather disappointed with it the last time I stayed - looks like I've found a new place!

Me and my husband recently stayed at the Cardiff Marriott Hotel and overall had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Cardiff, making it easy to explore nearby attractions, shops, and restaurants. The room was clean, spacious, and well equipped with all the necessary amenities. The bed was very comfortable, which allowed us to relax after a long day. We also appreciated the modern feel of the room and the attention to detail from housekeeping. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. All of the staff were kind and made our stay even more enjoyable. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and very welcoming, and any requests were handled promptly. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was welcoming and relaxing. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cardiff. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed in one of their executive rooms, really comfy bed, great bathroom, very clean and lovely views out over Cardiff. Staff were all excellent. The only slight downside was the lack of decent refreshments in the room, only still water and basic tea/coffee facilities provided - for an Executive Room, I'd expect at least proper milk and some other drinks/snacks to be provided. I know we had access to the Lounge, but we wanted to make the most of our room That said, I would stay again.
