What visitors say
After visiting Carlisle Castle came across the Tullie museum come gallery. Not having much time we stopped by and spoke to Graham who was on the Ticket counter. Super friendly guy that gave us a break down of what the tillie is. Entry price was £8.50 per Adult. There was a nicely stocked gift shop, Cafe and the day we were there they had a display/ exhibition of Automata machines. Out side there are some beautiful gardens well worth a walk around. All in all wellworth a look as they also cater for events, workshops that host frequently. To get up to date info check out there online and social media or drop in and grab there what's on booklet. The cafe is separate so it might be worth a walk around the garden then grab a coffee or tea which would support the tullie and save you the entance fee to the museum or exhibition. All in all lovely building to visit with a multitude of things to do with amazingly friendly and helpfull staff all the are definitely worth supporting.

This was extremely good. The perfect day activity for us, a family of 5.. we spend time relaxing in the Cafe and loads of time going around the museum and gallery. It suited the kids and adults, kept us all interested and busy. The Cafe was super, a good menu with some wonderful options.

We chose Tullie House as the venue for our small wedding celebration, and it truly turned out to be the best decision we could have made! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special and memorable place with a wonderful backdrop for unique retro‑style photos. Our room had private access to the garden, which gave the whole day such a cosy, intimate feeling of hosting our guests in our very own beautiful “castle.” A huge thank you to Annie, our event manager. She was absolutely fantastic — attentive, organised, and genuinely dedicated. She spent so much time with us going through every little detail, helping with supplier contacts, and even assisting with room decorations. Her support made everything run smoothly and allowed us to fully enjoy our day. Thank you, Tullie team!

This place and has such a nice vibe. The people are eeally friendly and welcoming. The interioirs are great, especially with all the new renovations and additions to the Gallery, it is one of the hidden gems tucked away in Carlisle. I got the opportunity to work with the Gallery and Museum over a weekend and it was a brilliant experience. The cafe and other facilities are good. A nice place to come alone, with friends, or with family.
