What visitors say
The experience was exceptional and thoroughly enjoyable, featuring a 1.5-hour cruise with afternoon tea and crumpets. All aspects were commendable, particularly the diverse selection of small sandwiches, which included a spicy option; the biscuit and jelly were really good. I consumed approximately three small teapots of tea. This experience is highly recommended, and I advise opting for the window seating (available for two-person tables) as it provides unparalleled views of London's iconic landmarks, ideal for photography. I rate this experience 5 out of 5.

Great to try it as something different with your partner 😀 Food was nice but a wee bit slow in service as it was not busy. There was live singer on board along with people dancing to music. Night cruise takes about 2.5hrs from Westminster down to Thames barrier area and plenty photos to take of the landmarks and tower bridge etc Well worth trying it out.

Took the family on the Thames City cruise from Westminster to Greenwich and back - it was a fabulous experience from start to finish. The captain was the highlight of the journey - entertaining, knowledgeable, and humorous. Their lively commentary brought London’s landmarks to life and kept both adults and kids engaged throughout the journey. We were lucky to have good weather, making the views along the Thames more enjoyable. The onboard bar offered a good variety of drinks and snacks. Prices were tourist-level, but that’s to be expected in central and it was still great to have refreshments available. The facilities were clean. The family had a fun time, and it was an educational experience for the kids too. A brilliant way to see abit of London from the river - highly recommended.

City Cruises at Westminster Pier on River Thames is a must-do attraction that gives you an opportunity to pre-view the city highlights before hitting the streets; and isn’t a cruise on River Thames a bucket list item unto itself? I purchased a two-way ticket to Tower Millennium Pier and back for just £19.95 which I thought was well worth the cost. There’s food and a full bar available on board, although I never bothered. You can choose to sit inside under the glass enclosure, or outside in the open air. If you’re like me you will have to change boats at the other pier before returning; this may involve a modest wait. A tour guide’s voice will announce many of the sites on route over the speakers, along with anecdotes. Highly recommended.
