What visitors say
Not great, particularly the management’s lack of customer service. The pool ‘feels’ freezing. When I reported this and advised my little one couldn’t get in and stay in, instead of talking to me or looking for a solution I was informed “the pool is not cold”. I had just done lengths and that was uncomfortable. I always hear people saying the same so know it’s not just us. Unfortunately, just dismissing customers means it won’t even be investigated. I was refused a refund due to ‘policy’. I’m happy to pay for a service, but didn’t receive one. You have to pay for either the baby pool or the main pool so when purchasing a session can’t access both unless paying double which is ludicrous. The showers are frequently out of service, or too hot or too cold. The gym doesn’t have a/c so it’s smelly, warm and muggy. Softplay is horrendously expensive. The basketball coach is great, but it’s just him so he can’t support the kids the way he could. He sometimes has someone with him, I’m assuming for numbers, but they have no input so it’s pointless from a coaching perspective….

Brilliant sports centre. We were on holiday and made use of the swimming pool. It's the best we have seen in the country, so amazing clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly, so were our fellow swimmers. People are friendly and polite in Alton and Chawton. It made our holiday 😊

Easy parking, spacious and extensive facilities. The staff are all very helpful. Really enjoyed the gym and spin studio. Upstairs changing facilities could benefit from private cubicles.

Great local sports centre with a good range of facilities. The staff are always friendly and helpful and everything is generally well looked after. A really useful facility to have locally and somewhere we have always had a positive experience.

Visitors consistently praise this sports center for its good range of facilities and friendly, helpful, and professional staff.
Other reviews mention the pool can be cold and poorly maintained, and the gym can be overly warm with neglected equipment.
