What visitors say
Free to visit these monastic ruins and gatehouse. Nice walking paths interspersed with medieval abbey ruins and interesting signs providing some history - very nice. Also has a lovely rose garden area, and some benches throughout. Car park was decent, though the physical machine wasn’t working so had to faff with downloading their app to pay. Prices ok for English car park.

Visited here on Saturday afternoon. Plenty of parking and not expensive, nice easy walks around the grounds. Ideal for families with little kids. You pay for parking on exit.

Green and peaceful oasis in the middle of town. Car park very reasonable - £1 for 1 hr and £2 for 24 hrs. In summer rose garden must be beautiful, but even in winter dullness was refreshing to walk around and enjoy greenery and wildlife.
