About Ba Ba Guest House

Hoole Road runs into Chester from the edge of town, a residential street lined with period houses just under a mile from the city centre, and Ba Ba Guest House occupies one of its Victorian buildings. It's a modest, five-room set-up with a garden to sit in and free on-site parking, which is not always a given this close to the centre.

Rooms are classic in style, each with its own en suite or private bathroom, and a hot breakfast is included each morning. There's a bar on site for an evening drink, along with free WiFi, luggage storage, a laundry service and concierge help if you need directions or recommendations. Drinks can also be brought to your room.

Pubs, restaurants and other eateries are all within easy reach nearby, useful given the guest house itself doesn't run a restaurant. Chester's city centre is under a mile away, and Liverpool John Lennon Airport is within reach for those flying in or out.

We stayed as a family of 3 at Ba Ba Guest House and we were all very happy. The room itself was spacious, clean and well presented with a lot of original features. Breakfast was delicious, and cooked as soon as you came down with special requests adhered to (thank you so much). We stayed for 2 nights and the room was tended to on our first morning whilst we were having breakfast. Quick and discreet. An excellent property with a lovely team, spacious room and quiet nights. Would definitely recommend if you're looking to visit Chester.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay with Bill and June . On entering their private car park June was there to greet us with a friendly smile . We were in number 6 which is one of the largest B& B rooms we have stayed in . It was clean and well decorated ( no scuffed walls ) The walk into Chester was about 15 mins . We walked it each day ( retired ) and found it most pleasant. There are Pubs and Restaurants all around the area so if you don’t want to walk into Chester there’s plenty to see and do . The breakfast was lovely and Bill and June go out of their way to accommodate people’s requests . We will definitely return .

Lovely guest house just 10min walk from the train station, in a quiet yet lively area with pubs, restaurants and shops nearby. Easy access to Chester city centre by bus. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and I was lucky to be upgraded to a spacious 4-person room, a nice surprise! Everything was very clean, the room had everything I needed, and the breakfast was great too. The hosts also gave helpful local tips. Highly recommended!
