What guests say
We were very hungry after a long morning, ordered a large breakfast each. Waited 40 minutes for two plates of muck! Overcooked and cold!! The single small mushroom was absolutely disgusting!! Tasted like it was cooked in rotten fish juice!!!! I felt ill all evening. Shame, because I have had nice breakfasts at various wethers across the UK and most have been nice. Seems like good, decent kitchen staff are a dying breed which is sad

Me and my partner came in earlier and had some food… the katsu curry my partner had, the chicken was somehow crunchy on the outside and very VERY undercooked in the middle!!! That meal has actually made him quite ill!! The chips were okay but could definitely tell they had been sitting under a heat light for a little while. Shame really as the food used to be quite good

Worst meal ive had in years The food was over cooked. The bacon was rubber-like texture. I was asked if everything is okay and I said it's fine until I realised the food was rubbery and over cooked. I dont want to cause a scene but the food I ordered was 10 pounds and I never eat half of it. Worst meal in years

Had two rooms, 204 which was excellent and decent size without too much noise. Room 102 though was extremely noisy as near the cellar so expect to be woken up early in the morning with the dray delivery. It is also near where the staff have a smoking section so quite noisy overall
