Bread was warm and fluffy and salad was fresh (mainly sour notes for dressing) and it's all downhill from there. Babaghanoush is tasteless beyond a bit of smokiness, the prawns were overcooked and tastes like what I made in university (and I am a bad cook). If you understand middle eastern and Asian cuisine - it's not for you it's more of a Great environment for corporate get together vibe. Lovely waitress.

Baraka is an absolute gem. The food was rich, comforting, and beautifully presented, with flavours that felt both indulgent and balanced. We ordered a mix of grills and mains — the kebabs were perfectly cooked, juicy and well-seasoned, with that smoky char you want from a proper grill. The chicken was tender, the lamb full of flavour, and the sides (especially the grilled vegetables and tomato) complemented everything really well. One standout was the dish served in a deep, spiced tomato sauce topped with creamy yoghurt — hearty, warming, and incredibly satisfying. The bread and dips were fresh and moreish, and everything felt thoughtfully put together rather than rushed. The cocktails were excellent too — refreshing, well-balanced, and a great match for the food. Add to that a stylish, relaxed atmosphere and attentive service, and it made for a really enjoyable evening. Would definitely return — great spot for sharing plates, drinks, and a long catch-up.

Food was pretty good, people were very attentive and checks in frequently, nice bright place to have a great group meal. They also was able to accommodate big group - like 15 people at the back of the restaurant which was nice!

This was a wonderful place to stop for a light bite on a horribly hot day! The interior is elegant and cool with some life-saving air conditioning, which many of the surrounding restaurants lack. We had some hummus and falafel, which were generous and tasty. I asked for ice with my fruit cider and my glass arrived generously filled with some chilled blueberries to boot. Staff were friendly and we were able to relax, refresh and spend time chatting without feeling hassled or pressured. It was a lovely restaurant experience and felt a bit more like dining in the mediterranean where the social side is considered as much a part of the experience as the food. Would definitely recommend.
