Walk through the entrance of St John The Baptist Mission Church and you're immediately struck by the original architecture: soaring ceilings, tall windows and period details throughout. The ground floor opens into a generous living room with woodburner and freesat television, flowing into a kitchen-diner where you can prepare meals using a gas hob and electric oven. Downstairs also holds the first bedroom with two single beds and an ensuite cubicle shower, plus a separate wet room with bath and shower.
A spiral staircase leads upward to the galleried first floor, where the second bedroom houses a four-poster double bed in a light, airy space. Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms. Essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included; parking for two cars sits on site. The enclosed garden wraps partly around the property with seating areas where you can settle outside, though it does contain a stream with drops, making it unsuitable for children under five.
Colwyn Bay itself sits on the North Wales coast, while Capel Curig village—home to three pubs, a shop and the Plas y Brenin National Mountain Centre—is roughly a mile away. No smoking throughout the property.

Got married here. Can not thank the vicar and church enough for all they have done.

I attended this church for the first time on 19th November 2017 with my Cocker Spaniel, Lily-Seren for a blessing. It was for a special pet service, a service of "thanksgiving in honour of our treasured companions", it's a wonderful idea, and David and Quentin were marvellous. Many dogs attended, some cats and even a tortoise. The church is beautiful inside and we were all made very welcome. It was easy to find with plenty of parking spaces outside. I wish it could be a regular service offered in all churches. However our local church in Llysfaen are wonderful in welcoming Lily in at any time.

I'm quite new to the church and started attending in November last year. The welcome has been very warm. The service is one hour and is perfectly balanced. Gareth's sermons are very relatable to every day life and when appropriate, very funny. My life has changed so much since I walked into that church, and back to my faith.
