What visitors say
I loved my stay at Dolgam Campsite. It's a great location on the road between Betws-y-Coed and Capel Curig. Beautiful views of Moel Siabod and I had a great pitch looking onto the river where I swam daily. As a solo traveller I felt safe, there's gated access and the owners house is just across the road. The facilities are great, very hot powerful showers, also liked that they have 8 ( I think there were 8) private sink & mirror vanity style rooms where you can change, brush teeth, wash face etc. Very clean facilities, regularly cleaned, not sure I've seen such clean camp facilities. Also love that in the showers they've made it practical- there's a mirror, a stool to put stuff on, wall hooks for your clothes/ towel and a shelf in the shower for your toiletries. There's also a curtain to protect your clothes. It's by a road but I didn't notice this as bird song and the river cancelled it out. Great location for river walks to Capel Curig or Betws-y-Coed. I also hiked up Moel Siabod from the campsite. Plenty of other routes too and it's on a bus route, with a stop right outside of the door. I got the bus back from Betws-y-Coed for £3.40. It was easy to book and you pay cash on arrival. I paid £12 per night. There are also some electric hook up pitches too. Make sure to book. I'd definitely stay again.

I have been camping here for 5 plus years now,a relaxing site, with excellent accessibility, set beneath moel seabod mountain with stunning views, with a river running along the back of site perimeter. Showers and toilets are spotlessly clean and hot. pot wash facilities and rubbish disposal are fantastic to use. A true climbers delight and a quick drive to basically anywhere and betsey coed 5 mins drive away. And ten mins to Tryfan!!!!!and ten minutes walk to pub at the top of the hill!!!. Local honest information always given by the owner if you ask. Not camped anywhere else as this can't be beaten!!! If you want to surround yourself with like minded hikers/climbers its the place to be!.

Great campsite in the heart of Snowdonia. Clean facilities with electric hook up options. A bus service from just outside the campsite will take you to the start of Snowdon hikes as well as Caernarfon and other villages around. Nice hikes directly from the campsite too.

Great little riverside campsite with views of Moel Siabod. Fairly basic, but pricing reflects that and the basics are done right... clean facilities, warm showers and a washing up area. Everything you need and nothing you don't. Wild swimming in the river was a real bonus. Roadside location was a bit of a worry, but traffic noise at night wasn't an issue.
