Tucked into a valley in the lush Gwydyr Forest, this campsite sits right beside its spectacular namesake waterfall on the River Llugwy, just five minutes from Betws-y-Coed. The dog-friendly grass pitches keep things simple – modern showers, washing-up facilities and recycling – but the real draw is the charming on-site pub. Loved this place.! Feels like a small and friendly hotel but is a large hotel incorporating a camp site and glamping pods. Straight opposite the falls with a large car park. This parking is free to hotel guests which was great. Not far from local town but a good walk if you fancy it. We arrived to find staff had not turned up and the lady on reception was juggling a lot of different jobs but were met with a warm welcome, friendly and professional. Asked where our small dog was allowed and she literally said every where. They charge £15 a night for a dog. We had booked a cosy double. The room was very small but it was very clean, nicely furnished and was very comfortable. Bathroom felt new and was extremely clean. Bonus of a fan and iron and board in there. Well thought out rooms. If you are taking dogs there are plenty of bowls and water on tap literally. We stayed for food the first night and unfortunately although the service was great the food wasnt. Portion sizes were good but chips were cold and felt like they had be cooked earlier and slightly warmed, I had the scampi which was obviously frozen type was not great quality. This was hugely disappointing after we had loved everything else. Breakfast, however was fantastic. A good choice of food, plenty to eat and arrived hot. Again service was excellent. They have a deal were if you stay for at least two nights and dont ask for linen or towel change you get a free drink. When we asked about this on our ladt night we were told we should have done this the first night. As we had not been informed of the deal at check in they allowed us to have the drinks but be warned you need to let them know. On our second night we went to the local town for food. Arrived back at hotel and stayed for drinks, the food looked better than night before and they had drafted in a manager from another of the hotels to help out. He and the girl mentioned earlier worked really well together and just were so friendly and helpful Would definitely come back to this hotel

Beautiful location and clean rooms. Meals were a little run of the mill, but pleasant. All staff were exceptionally friendly apart from one lady working on the bar with short red hair. For some reason she made quite a public scene with a lady who dropped in to look at the menu, claiming she couldn't take the menu away from the bar. It wasn't pleasant to witness and I'm sure a little embarrassing for the lady visiting. No idea why she did it. Overall, nice place to stay if you are in the area. Especially with the falls opposite. £2 per person entry if you fancy it.

Really clean and tidy, great selection of beers and ales, totally dog friendly and good pub grub. Couldn’t fault it. Zoe was exceptional on check-in and during dinner and breakfast; a really genuine welcome. Si was great behind the bar too. Thanks for making the 70th birthday we were celebrating really enjoyable.

Stayed at The Swallow Falls Inn for one night with 3 adults, 3 dogs & a baby. The place was easy to find, & even easier to check in, the rooms were spacious & clean, especially as we stayed in the ‘dog friendly’ rooms. My only criticism is that the room I was staying in smelt a little musky, I believe the front door must have been leaking which lead to the carpet being damp, hence the musky smell. Other than that, can’t complain at all - the breakfast was nice, the food was good & the staff were very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again :)
