Birchwood

Birchwood is a four-bedroom, two-bathroom detached house sleeping eight, positioned on the Cornish coast near Bude. The property comes fully equipped for self-catering: electricity, gas heating, bed linen and towels are all included, along with wi-fi throughout. Initial logs for the wood burner are provided, so there is no need to source them on arrival. You have private parking for three cars on site.

The ground floor contains a living room with a wood burner and Freeview TV, a kitchen and dining room fitted with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer, a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, a study with a sofa bed, and a separate toilet. Upstairs are four bedrooms: two doubles with an ensuite shower to one, and two rooms with bunk beds suitable for children. A family bathroom with bath and shower completes the layout. French doors from the living room open onto a lawned garden with patio and furniture.

Widemouth Bay, known for surfing, lies two and a half miles away; Bude itself, with three beaches, shops and restaurants, is equally close. Tintagel, Rock and Padstow are nearby, and Dartmoor, Bodmin Moor and the Eden Project are within driving distance. The property does not permit smoking.
