Butterbee Cottages - The Beehive

Walk through the door of The Beehive and you're met with a double-height living space that immediately feels generous and light. The ground floor holds an open-plan kitchen and dining area where you can cook and eat together, a sitting room with a sofa bed, and the first bedroom with a zip-and-link super king. A shower room completes this level. Upstairs, two more bedrooms—another super king and a pair of single beds—share a bathroom with a bath. One dog is welcome, and the whole cottage is yours alone.

The kitchen comes fully equipped for cooking from scratch: oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer all there. Outside, you have a private patio with furniture and a barbecue, plus access to larger grounds that include a children's play area. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all covered. On-site parking accommodates two cars; there's also an electric charging point if you need it. The cottage sits in the grounds of Butterbee House near Launceston Road Recreation Ground.

Callington occupies the eastern fringe of Bodmin Moor, with the Tamar Valley close by—quiet country pubs, woodland walks, and hidden streams dot the landscape. St Mellion golf course lies within a few miles. Plymouth is a thirty-minute drive away, and both coastlines are within reasonable reach: the dramatic cliffs and beaches of the north coast, or the fishing villages of the south.
