Dozmary View is a modern farmhouse annex positioned at the end of a long drive through working farmland, where isolation and moorland views are the main features. Everything is on the ground floor: an open-plan living space with a wood-burning stove, a dining area, a kitchen with electric cooker and dishwasher, a conservatory overlooking the Fowey valley, a double bedroom, and an ensuite shower room. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included. One dog is welcome, though it must remain on lead as you're on a working farm.
The location puts you within easy reach of Dozmary Pool and Colliford Lake, where an 8.5-mile walk circles the water and connects to moorland trails beyond. Jamaica Inn, the Daphne du Maurier landmark, stands just over a mile away. The property has parking for two cars, a patio garden, and no smoking inside. Check-in is after 16:00, checkout before 10:00.

Says dog and child friendly but there's no fencing round the property which is attached to owners house and farm dogs/cats wandering around, nice conservatory but nowhere suitable to sit comfortably outside plus one of the plastic chairs provided snapped in half as I was sitting on it and when we told the owners they just texted back with "ok" also you can't cook anything in the grill without setting off the smoke alarm, won't ever visit again - East rose cottages btw are much better and cost less

Lovely remote location with stunning views and cute pet calf. Very clean and equipped with everything you may need for a perfect holiday. Easy self check-in/out. Take in peace, quiet and a sky full of stars. Very good value for money.
