River Cottage

River Cottage works well for a couple or a small family with a young child. The property has a double bedroom and a second room with bunk beds (suitable for children only), plus a bathroom with bath and heated towel rail. Downstairs there is a living room with television and DVD player, a separate dining room, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer mean you can prepare meals as you prefer. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included.

The cottage sits on Chypons Farm near Chypons village, surrounded by grounds that guests share with other properties on the site. There is a courtyard garden, a larger lawn with seating areas, a summerhouse, and storage for bikes, surfboards or kayaks. One car can park on site. The north Cornwall coast lies 4 miles away—beaches are within easy driving distance, as are St Ives with its galleries and independent shops, and further afield Penzance, Marazion and Mousehole. A pub is half a mile away and restaurants are 2 miles from the cottage. No smoking is permitted inside.
