The Barn

The Barn is a ground-floor cottage in a wooded valley near St Ives, with everything on one level. Two bedrooms—a king and a single—and a shower room serve up to three guests, with one dog also welcome. Parking for one car is on site.

The kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher and washing machine, so you can cook properly or travel light. The living room opens onto a patio through French doors, with a wood-burning stove for cooler evenings. Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included. The property sits within a wooded setting with a lawned garden, though an unfenced stream runs about 50 yards away, which matters if you're travelling with young children. No smoking indoors.

St Ives is four miles off, with beaches, galleries and independent shops. Marazion and St Michael's Mount lie six and a half miles south; Penzance, Newlyn and Mousehole are all within reach. A pub is half a mile away and the nearest beach is four miles.
