Couples will find this detached bungalow an ideal retreat. It sits within Rosecraddoc Holiday Village, a wooded setting in a quiet valley where walking trails lead through rural countryside. The single bedroom contains a double bed with French doors opening onto a patio; the shower room is compact but functional. An open-plan living area has a kitchen equipped for self-catering, along with a sitting space and television for quieter evenings.
The village offers shared facilities including a fishing lake (a licence is required, at additional cost) and tennis court. There is private parking for two cars on site. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are provided; heating and electricity are included during winter months. The garden has an unfenced stream running through it. Smoking is not permitted inside.
The location suits those wanting to explore the Cornish coast in both directions: the Lost Gardens of Heligan and Eden Project lie within reach to the south, while Boscastle, Port Isaac and Padstow are accessible to the north. A pub is roughly a mile and a half away, and shops are about two miles distant.

A quiet street of pretty bungalows, beautifully kept. Mine had a rushing stream behind, magic!

The lodge is well located to visit places around Cornwall. It has three bedrooms and can comfortably accommodate 6 guests, a well appointed kitchen, but no dishwasher. The heating system takes time to heat up the house, but is effective once it gets going. It can accommodate upto two cars comfortably in the drive way in front of the cottage. The hot water supply could definitely be better. While the instant shower is good for a shower, the running hot water in the basin or kitchen sink are grossly inadequate. Lastly, it's very difficult to shave as the only basin doesn't have a mirror. The mirror is behind the user and thus serves no purpose. Overall, reasonable value for money. However, it's built for the summer while we chose to vacation during Christmas holidays. Would like to stay during the summer and explore the beaches of Cornwall again.

Excellent location for a quiet break. You need ur own transport though. Shops, restaurants, bars etc are a drive away. Downside wifi and mobile coverage very poor.

This is THE BURROW the bungalow we rented for the week in rosecraddoc lodge bungalows. Very clean beautifuly tide and the amazing owners left tea milk coffee biscuits for our arrival me my partner and two kiddies and our pooch (YES PETS ALLOWED) and so so peaceful beautiful place to explore EVERYWHERE as long as you don't mind a walk woodland areas to walk your pooch in. This is my selling point wait till the night go out side and just look up the most beautiful sight this world can show you the night sky the stars in all their majesty unfettered by the light pollution from the citys we usually come from I recommend sitting down to look up because you won't want to stop looking. I recommend this beautiful place to all. And thank the owners for a fantastic place to stay on our holiday.
