Shippen

Shippen is a two-bedroom cottage on Court Farm Holidays, a working smallholding near Marhamchurch in North Cornwall, two miles from the coast. The property sleeps up to five guests across a king and single bed in the first bedroom, two singles in the second, plus a sofa bed in the open-plan living space. One bathroom serves the whole cottage; a cot and highchair are available if needed. Electricity, bed linen and wi-fi are included, and the kitchen has a cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine for self-catering stays.

The cottage comes with private parking and its own small garden with sitting-out area. More widely, guests can use the farm's shared facilities: an indoor heated swimming pool (9m by 4m, 0.9m to 1.5m deep, open 8am to 8pm daily), tennis court, games room with table tennis, children's play area, and barbecue areas across the 4-acre grounds. The smallholding has animals on site and allows children to collect eggs in the morning. Note that there is an unfenced pond 110 yards from the property. No smoking is permitted. This suits families wanting a coastal base with plenty of on-site activities, or anyone looking for a quieter inland setting within reach of beaches.
