Treloyhan - Beach Retreat

Treloyhan – Beach Retreat is a single-storey timber lodge built into wooded grounds that slope down towards the coast. The structure centres on a substantial timber beam that runs through the middle, giving the interior an open, characterful feel. All living spaces are on the ground floor, with French doors opening onto a private enclosed patio where you can sit out and take in the surroundings. A double bedroom and single room sleep two; there is one bathroom with bath and shower. The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering, with a gas cooker and the essentials for a week away. Heating, electricity, wi-fi and bed linen are all included.

The lodge sits within 1½ acres of shared grounds that mix open lawn and woodland, with direct access to the South West Coastal Path. From here you can walk towards St Ives town and its harbour in one direction, or head to Carbis Bay the other way. There is parking for one car on site. One dog can stay free, though must be kept on a lead in the shared areas. The grounds do have changes in level across two tiers, with steps in places. No smoking inside.
