Extremely disappointing, would not recommend. We arrived around 2:15pm on Saturday in the bar area and ordered drinks/bar food. Not long after placing our food order, a lady approached us in a very rude manner telling us that we had moved the tables and it was about to become a dance floor so we needed to move. Firstly, we had no issue with the request and we were more than happy to move. However, we did not move the tables nor chairs and her attitude was shocking. We then moved to another table, attempting to pull tables together (as other tables had done) and she ran over again telling us we were unable to do so as it will stop the bar staff clearing glasses (it was two single, 2 person tables). Again, not an issue but the rudeness was relentless. The lady then proceeded to keep talking about our table to another male colleague, to which we felt completely unwelcome. It became apparent very quickly that if you are not a regular there, you are not welcome. Clearly very annoyed that we took up the space their regulars use. This really put a damper on my friend’s birthday, we were genuinely shocked with how rude she was. I am also heavily pregnant. Will not be recommending, nor returning.

I don't often leave reviews, but I had a genuinely terrible experience here. The management were, without doubt, the worst I've encountered at any hotel. On more than one occasion I was spoken to aggressively, shouted at by the manager for using an entrance despite the signage directing me that way, and when I later tried to raise my concerns, I was threatened with being asked to leave if I wasn't happy. I made every effort to resolve things directly with the hotel rather than leave a negative review, but unfortunately my concerns were dismissed. Some of the bar staff were kind and polite, but the management's behaviour completely overshadowed the stay. Sadly, I cannot recommend staying here.

Extremely Disappointing Baby Shower Experience – Not Worth It! We hosted a baby shower here and were beyond disappointed. The food portions were tiny — most guests left hungry, which is embarrassing when you’ve paid for price per head. 20 sausage rolls between 50 people we paid for. The staff were rude and unhelpful from the moment we arrived, making us feel like we were a nuisance rather than valued customers. To make matters worse, the cost was outrageous for what we got. It honestly felt like we were being nickel-and-dimed at every turn — they even charged extra just to have the TV on! For a supposed “celebration,” it was anything but. Would not recommend this place for any event, especially something as special as a baby shower. This baby shower was November 2025 sadly we have only just got round to leaving this review due to a house move and the arrival of our little girl. We did contact the restaurant after and sadly we was told a manager would call us back but after trying to contact them 3 times we gave up.
