Keswick's oldest neighbourhood surrounds 3 The Hollies, a Victorian conversion set back from the main streets. Despite this peaceful position, the town centre is a short walk away, and the Lake District's fell and water routes lie beyond. A pub is within a mile.

The apartment occupies the first floor of what was once a gentleman's house. Two bedrooms sleep four: one has a king bed, the other two singles on a zip-and-link frame. A bathroom with shower, living room with smart TV and surround sound, and a kitchen fitted with oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer make up the rest. Bed linen, Wi-Fi and electricity are included. The communal garden is shared with other residents in the building, and there is parking for one car on site. The property is non-smoking; the owner occasionally has a dog present, so it would not suit anyone with dog allergies.
