Kimberdale Lodge is a detached property in rural Cumberland, set within more than half an acre of its own grassed garden. The whole lodge is yours alone, and everything happens on the ground floor: an open-plan living space with patio doors onto the garden, a kitchen with electric cooking and full appliances, two bedrooms (one double, one with twin singles), and a shower room with walk-in enclosure. Bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included; electricity and heating run on oil underfloor central heating. Parking for two cars is on site, and there is a covered area at the rear for wet weather gear.
The location sits between the Scottish border to the north and Carlisle to the south, within striking distance of Hadrian's Wall, the Lake District, and the Solway Coast. Quiet country lanes surround the property, making it good for walking and cycling, with village pubs within reach. Carlisle itself offers the castle, Tullie House Museum, and the usual urban amenities. The lodge suits groups of four who want their own space in open countryside; it does not permit smoking.
