Kingstarn

Kingstarn is a four-storey Victorian cottage in Keswick's Packhorse Court, a residential neighbourhood within walking distance of the town centre. The property sleeps eight across four bedrooms: two with kingsize beds and two with single twins. There are two bathrooms and a separate toilet on the second floor, plus another on the ground floor. The whole house is yours alone, and one well-behaved pet is welcome.

The kitchen is comprehensively fitted with a gas cooker, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave and washer-dryer, so you can cook proper meals or manage without much fuss. Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. The cottage has two living spaces: a ground-floor room and a second sitting room on the top floor, both with television and DVD players, which works well for larger groups or families wanting to spread out. A dining room with an extendable table seats up to twelve. There is a small front garden with seating and on-road parking available. The property does have narrow, steep or spiral stairs in places.

Keswick itself is a hub for Lake District walking and climbing, with routes starting from the doorstep. A pub sits within a mile. The cottage is non-smoking throughout.
