Ulverston sits on the edge of Lancashire's pastoral landscape, close enough to the Lake District's northern fells and waters to make it a practical base for exploring the region. Saddleback Cottage is a mid-terrace house spread across three storeys, arranged to give three bedrooms and three bathrooms—a king bed on the ground floor with ensuite, two singles and a family bathroom on the first floor, and another king with ensuite on the second. The ground floor opens onto a combined living and dining space with a record player and gas fire, with the kitchen beyond containing an electric oven, hob, dishwasher and washing machine.
Bed linen, towels and wi-fi are provided, along with on-site parking for one car. A small patio sits to the rear. The cottage does not permit smoking. There's a pub within walking distance, and the town centre with its shops and amenities lies a short walk away. Cots, highchairs and buggies can be arranged if needed for younger guests.
