Keswick sits at the heart of the Lake District, within walking distance of Derwentwater and surrounded by fell walks that start from the village itself. The town centre has independent shops, pubs, restaurants and attractions including the Pencil Museum and Theatre by the Lake. Hastings is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom cottage positioned on a quiet residential street, close enough to reach everything on foot yet set back from the bustle.

The property sleeps four across a kingsize bed downstairs and two singles upstairs. Downstairs there is a living room with a woodburner, a kitchen equipped for full cooking with a dishwasher and washing machine, and a shower room. The upstairs bathroom has a freestanding roll-top bath. Both bedrooms and the living room have views towards Latrigg fell. An enclosed courtyard at the rear provides outside space with seating, and there is parking for one car on site.

Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are included. The cottage does not permit smoking. One well-behaved pet is welcome. It suits couples or families wanting to explore Keswick and the surrounding fells from a comfortable base.
