Lavender Cottage

Derwentwater is a ten-minute walk away, and the Lake District fells that ring Keswick—Latrigg, Catbells, Skiddaw, Blencathra, Helvellyn—are within reach for day trips. The town centre itself, with its restaurants, pubs and shops, is a flat walk downhill. Lavender Cottage gives you a base to explore without needing the car constantly.

The cottage sleeps four across two bedrooms: one double and one twin. Downstairs, the kitchen and dining room open through French doors into the living room, making it easy to cook and eat together. You get bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included, along with a washing machine if you need it. There is a small enclosed garden at the rear with seating. One pet is welcome. Note that the stairs are steep and the top landing has a low ceiling.

On-street parking is available outside, or the bus stop is two streets away on the main road. The cottage does not permit smoking.
